Bourbon Wood Bottle Candle | old elk candle | 25oz soy wax

OLK ELK Bourbon Wood Bottle Candle is handmade by WatermelonAir using an up-cycled bottle and soy wax. This candle is scented in a “Bourbon Wood” fragrance. An intoxicating blend of bourbon, rum, and cognac with dark, woody notes of cedar, vetiver, and oak with a slightly nutty finish. This is a classic woodsy and bourbon scent and makes the perfect cave/bar candle or gift!

OLK ELK Bourbon Wood candle is unique and comes with a handcrafted wax cork embed. This is candle is made with 100% soy wax, scented with the maximum amount of fragrance oil that soy wax can hold, made with an all-cotton natural wick and safe made-in-the-USA colorants. This candle contains 25oz (708g) of wax. 

We strive for perfection when cutting our bottles, but human error is possible. We check and test each candle for sharp edges before it leaves our studio, please use caution when touching the rim of the candle. Please note that there may be slight imperfections in your candle as well as variations from the photo, as they are handmade. 

Frosting is a unique and natural effect of soy wax. The wax tries to return back to its natural form and as a result it may crystallize/slightly pull away from glass. This does not affect the performance of the candle in any way and this means your wax is 100% natural! 

For best results, always keep your wick trimmed to 1/4”. The first time you light your candle, allow it to burn for at least 1-3 hours* (1 hour per the diameter of the container*) or until the top layer of wax is fully melted to the edges of the container. Let the wax harden before lighting again. This will help prevent tunneling and will help your candle burn better and last longer. Do not burn when there is less than 1/2" of wax left in the bottle. Please use caution where you place your candle: away from drafts, curtains, etc., always keep this away from children and pets. Although our candles smell amazing- this is not food-do not eat.
